During our time in Aruba we had a lot of opportunity to visit much of the Aruba coastline. Some parts were very rocky and others very sandy.
Most of the coast on the Northeast side was rocky and not really swimmable due to the crashing waves and undercurrents but was beautiful to walk along.
The westside of the island boasted white sandy beaches with gently rolling waves. While the northwest coast had sandy beaches with lots of coral close to the edge making them great for snorkelling. During our snorkelling adventures we saw many different types of live coral and many interesting fish like puffers, clownfish, sergeant majors and small silver ones in large schools.
