Beach Time in Aruba

Aruba is a country of the Netherlands and is physically located in the mid-south of the Caribbean Sea about 29 kilometres north of the Venezuelan peninsula.

The first European settlers in Aruba we’re the Spanish in 1499. Netherland then seized Aruba in 1636 in the Thirty Year War.

Aruba is generally a flat, riverless island with sandy white beaches on the southern and western coasts. Our adventure today was to leave the ship and walk to Eagle Beach rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world. We could see why once we arrived!
