Yesterday we boarded the MSC Divina in Miami for an 11 day cruise with Pam, Gary, Josee and Bruce.

Pam, Gary, Brian and I had a leisurely drive to Miami from Venice and embarked at around 2:30. Josee and Bruce were already on the ship exploring and getting our dinner table arranged so we could eat together.

The seas were a little rough when we set said so the boat was rolling a fair amount.

Our Monday port of call was Ocean Cay. Though it was quite windy and cloudy we were able to get out for a walk around the island, a drink at the lighthouse bar and our lunch at the Seaker restaurant.

After lunch we returned to the ship to get our bathing suits on and a book to read. Before returning to the ship Josee and I decided to brave the weather and go in for a swim and we’re very glad we did as the ocean was very refreshing.
