Today we biked the Venice Island Trail. We started close to the Venice Airport and followed the intercostal waterway for awhile and then meandered through some residential neighbourhoods until we reached the North Jetty. Pam, Gary and Brian indulged in some ice cream while I watched and tried to catch a picture of the dolphins playing in the jetty.

The total loop was about 20km. Once home we made some strawberry daiquiris and relaxed in the lanai doing a crossword puzzle and then watched a cool documentary on how the universe came to be.
