Breathtaking Kotor

Kotor is located along one of Montenegro’s most beautiful bays. To get into Kotor a local pilot was brought onto the ship in the early morning to navigate us through a series of deep basins. Kotor is sheltered from the open sea by many jagged fjords which makes it one of the largest natural harbours of the Adriatic Sea. The landscape was breathtaking as the sun rose over the fjords and we slowly moved to the port of disembarkation.

The old city of Kotor is a well preserved village typical of the middle Ages built between the 12th and 14th centuries. There were cats everywhere in the old city.

We decided we would find a spot at the back of the ship to watch the boat depart through the narrow strait. The views were amazing.
